Thanks to all who are regularly using this kommu.net for our family information and roots of our ancestors, where they came from and how widely it is spreading all over the world. The staff always enjoy to hear from our family members as well as to get to know each of you little better.

To better our service, I would like to encourage you to participate in our member registration and contribute information of any important event that you come to know. It is our hope to always improve our programs and services with suggestions and we would greatly welcome your feedback.
We started collecting this Kommu family information since 1974, when my children did a project on family roots in Pine Tree School, Longview, Texas. Many members of our family contributed this information.
- Kommu Subrahmanyam, my elder brother has put in a lot of Energy and effort over a period of time collecting the roots information from registered documents of sub-registrar's offices and reviewing the old documents of our families.
- Pandarinath formatted the inormation into telugu text and edited the contents giving it the form and style.
- Kommu Venkata Rama Sarma contributed all his rememberings of the Kommu family History.
- Kommu Sri Ramulugaru contributed a lot of information to improve and upgrade this Tree.
- A gathering was held in 1992 after the release of the first Telugu family tree book in Hyderabad.
- Recently Kommu Dakshina Murthy, Sriram, Anu Radha, Raghu, Seshai Sastry, Sundaram, Ramakanth, Ramana/Aruna, Sarvani, Sirisha, Sri Lakshmi, Ravi Shankar, Kartik,Kaushik, Prashant, Soma Lalitha, Lavanya, and Amrutha have added quality information and few Photographs and contributed for Technical and Quality Improvement.
First we printed a book in Telugu in 1989 and subsequently brought on to the computer program in 1996. The first Family Reunion was held in the month of January 1996 and another in June 2007 in Hyderabad, India.

Maruthi Prasad, Anuradha and Venkata Raghu and many others from our family worked on this web site and we all have to improve this to make it look good.
